Atkinson, Boulanger, Berenbaum, Williams to join Cardinals Coaching Staff

The Abbotsford Cardinals would like to announce the hiring of Todd Boulanger!

Coach Boulanger joins our staff as an assistant for our Bantam Cardinals!

Coach Boulanger brings over 25+ years of coaching experience, including stops in the BCPBL, BCMBA and Pee Wee AAA.

A former player in the PBL, Boulanger won three provincial championships for the Fraser Valley Chiefs. After his time in the PBL, Boulanger was selected in the 41st Round of the 1991 MLB Draft.

In addition to his experience on the field as both a player and coach, Boulanger has served in multiple administrative roles, including Head of Player Development and Technical Director for Abbotsford Angels.

His deep knowledge of baseball, competitive mindset, and passion for developing young athletes will be a tremendous asset to our program.

The Abbotsford Cardinals would like to announce the hiring of Josh Berenbaum!

Coach Berenbaum will be joining the program as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.

A current pitcher for the Toronto Maple Leafs, as well as assistant coach at University of Fraser Valley (CCBC), Berenbaum is excited to join the Cardinal coaching staff. A graduate of UFV, Berenbaum was a decorated member of the Cascades program as a player, winning CCBC Pitcher of the Year in 2024, amongst other awards.

With a proven track record of leadership, player development, and competitive success, Berenbaum brings both experience and energy to the program as it looks toward the next chapter.

Coach Atkinson will be joining the program as an Assistant Coach for our Premier Cardinals!

A former player in the PBL from 2008-2011, Atkinson rejoins the PBL eager to give back to our Cardinals!

Atkinson was a member of the Canada Junior National Team from 2009-2011, before being selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 26th Round of the 2011 MLB Draft.

Coach Atkinson's firsthand knowledge of professional baseball and commitment to elite standards will be a tremendous asset to our program!

Coach Williams will be joining the program as an Assistant Coach for our Bantam Cardinals!

Williams, who played for the Cardinals from 2010-2013, is excited to rejoin the program! After his time with the Cardinals, Williams attended Prairie Baseball Academy, where he was part of three CCBC championship teams!
