About us

The Abbotsford Cardinals Baseball Club has provided the Fraser Valley youth with the opportunity to play elite baseball since 1977. As a member of the BC Premier Baseball League, the Cardinals develop and produce some of the best, high school aged baseball talent across the country.

Our program is designed to provide high level instruction and career direction for committed student athletes. Through our advanced training programs & commitment to college readiness, we help position our players to accomplish their academic and athletic goals. 

Our coaching staff has grown significantly, adding several talented coaches with both playing and coaching experience at the high school, college, and professional level. Our coaches are committed to providing quality mentorship and advanced instruction to our teams. We succeed - when our players succeed.

Our year round program provides an outlet for players to develop and showcase their ability on a national and international stage. 

FALL:

Our fall season (September-November) features tryouts, practices, high level competition with local PBL and college programs, intersquad action, and more! 

WINTER:

Our winter season (December-February) is focused on individual development, including indoor training at our facilities, full strength and conditioning program, and video/data collection for players pursuing opportunities at the next level. 

SPRING:

Our spring/summer season (March-August) begins with Spring Training, which takes us to Arizona in 2026. There the Cardinals will compete against local Junior Colleges, NCAA/NAIA programs, and other HS Academy teams. Upon returning to BC, the Cardinals will begin their PBL season against 12 other programs in our league. During gaps in our PBL schedule, the Cardinals participate in many local tournaments, including US tournaments in Washington and Oregon, as well as BC Tournaments featuring programs from Ontario, Alberta and other provinces.

Finally, our program is dedicated to providing a competitive environment for our Cardinals. We at the Cardinals believe that a winning organization is rooted through discipline, a winning mindset, and commitment to sacrificing for each other. By emphasizing winning habits, we create an environment where every player, coach and member of the Cardinal Family is equally responsible for the success of the team, player & program.
