2025-26 SEASON CARDINALS TRYOUTS

The Abbotsford Cardinals are excited to open registration for the 2025-26 BCPBL Season.

Our program is designed to help student athletes develop their game, compete with the best teams in the PBL, and gain the proper exposure to NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, and CCBC programs. Our goal is to provide a competitive environment focused on team success, all while developing our student athletes into high character, talented ball players.


Our year round program, led by our elite coaching staff, provides a blueprint for helping ballplayers reach their maximum potential. Our coaching staff has both playing and coaching experience at the MLB, NCAA, NAIA and High School levels. 

In addition to our year round program, the Cardinals are excited to announce the 2025-26 Cardinal College Tour. This college tour will feature a North American multi-region tournament schedule, designed to maximize exposure for our Cardinal players by playing against US competition, as well as visiting universities/colleges, their facilities, and coaching staffs. This program will be offered to players selected at the Premier level, but the Cardinals plan to implement similar opportunities for our Bantam and Junior levels as well. More information regarding travel, dates and cost will be announced soon!

The Abbotsford Cardinals will have open tryouts for the following levels:

Premier : Grade 11-13
Junior : Grade 9-11
Bantam : Grade 8-9
15U Development : Grade 8-9 (Runs from September-December)

Tryout fee for the 2025-26 Abbotsford Cardinals is $150. THIS TRYOUT FEE IS NON REFUNDABLE. Tryout information can be found below. Additional fall, winter and spring fees will be communicated with families of players selected at our Cardinals Town Hall, hosted on 9/20.

TRYOUT INFORMATION: 
Tryouts begin September 8th, and will run for two weeks (Bantam/15U Development will be a three week tryout). Players will receive coaching, instruction and evaluation by our Cardinals staff. At the end of tryouts, players selected will represent the 2025-26 PBL Abbotsford Cardinals.

Premier - 9/8 : 5PM at Delair Park (Sign in begins at 4:30PM)

Junior -  9/8 : 7PM at Delair Park (Sign in begins at 6:30PM)

Bantam/15U Development - 9/9 : 5PM at Townline Park (Sign in begins at 4:30PM)


Tryouts are open to any baseball players in the following catchment: Maple Ridge, Mission, Chilliwack and Abbotsford. Players must be born in the following birth years to tryout:
Premier - 2008 - 2009/ Junior - 2010 - 2011/ Bantam - 2011 - 2012
